The final component of team development to become a fully functioning and high-performing team is clearly defining team goals and the means to be used to reach these goals.
When a team achieves goals and means clarity, team members:
- have clarified and agreed upon what the real work of the team is,
- clearly understand the goals of the team,
- agree on how to reach the team goals,
- agree upon clear criteria for evaluating the outcomes of the team.
